Summer college baseball team the Olney Cropdusters won their first ever Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League championship. The team beat Bethesda Big Train 11-3 in the game. [Montgomery County Media]

Silver Spring wine cafe resumes alcohol sales

Beer and wine sales have continued at Locavino wine café after the restaurant and cafe’s new alcohol license was approved. The sale of alcohol was previously suspended due to a temporary lapse in the restaurant’s beer and wine license. [Source of the Spring]
