    Germantown man charged with DUI in connection with pedestrian collision in DC

    Michael Wayne Mills, of Germantown, was arrested with driving under the influence and leaving the scene after allegedly hitting a 79-year-old woman with his car. Mills was detained by a National Guard member after allegedly attempting to leave the scene. [Fox 5]

    City of Gaithersburg reopens record for development project in Rio

    The Gaithersburg City Council and Mayor voted Monday night to reopen the record for the proposed Rio Residential Project. Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman said it would give residents another opportunity to share their perspectives before a decision is made. [Montgomery County Media]
