Montgomery County police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews responded Wednesday morning to Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring for a medical emergency involving a student, police said on social media.

Police officers and MCFRS crews were at the school shortly before 10 a.m., according to the department’s post. The student was transported to a local hospital and no foul play was suspected, police said.

Montgomery County spokesperson Liliana Lopez didn’t immediately respond Wednesday morning to Bethesda Today’s email request for more details about the incident.
