In a new public service announcement shared to social media Wednesday, multiple police departments and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews are warning people to stay out of the Potomac River, especially near Great Falls, where strong currents and hidden dangers have contributed to several drownings this summer.
