Montgomery County police department is set to expand its Drone as First Responder with a new dock-based drone system which will allow drones to launch from docking stations throughout the county. Jamie Weinstein, an opinion commentator and satirist bought 5211 Wisconsin Ave. NW in Chevy Chase for $6.5 million. The 20,000-square-foot building was previously occupired by Sur La Table and bookstore pop-up Carpe Librum. [Washington Business Journal]

Japanese restaurant Mui makes a comeback to Pike and Rose

The long-delayed Japanese restaurant Mui will be opening as an exclusive luxury dining destination with $1,000 to $5,000 annual memberships. It will specialize in wagyu beef, “theatrical” tableside dining, and an omakase 12-course tasting menu. [Store Reporter]
