Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has reversed its earlier decision to end gymnastics as a high school sport, announcing it will continue for at least one more season after community pushback. Officials said gymnasts and coaches were not given enough opportunity to provide feedback before the decision to eliminate the sport. [DC News Now]

St. Jude Regional Catholic School in Rockville hosted a “Haircuts for Becca” fundraiser to support 5-year-old student Becca Lally during her cancer treatment and raise money for Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. The event brought together students, families and staff in support of the Lally family. [Catholic Standard]
