Man injured in Sunday morning shooting after dispatch for disorderly group

One man was found with a gunshot wound after Montgomery County police and fire and rescue crews were dispatched to the 12200 block of Wilkins Ave. in Rockville for the report of a group of individuals acting disorderly, according to a social media post from police.
The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to social media posts, police were dispatched at roughly 6:25 a.m. to the 12200 block of Wilkins Ave. for the report group of individuals acting disorderly. The area includes several businesses, including automative and home stores, 7 Locks Brewing and G Street Fabrics.
Upon arrival, the officers found one adult man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said on social media.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) crews reported when consulting Suburban Hospital over radio transmissions Sunday morning that the man was an 18-year-old male with an abdominal gunshot wound.
As of early Sunday morning, police said there was no suspect in custody.
