Minnie’s Island, an eight-acre conservation property in the middle of the river, remains closed months after a sewage spill contaminated portions of the Potomac River. 1 seriously injured in Monday night shooting in Damascus
One person was seriously injured after a shooting and was transported to a local hospital. The incident occurred roughly 10:30 p.m. on the 9800 block of Bethesda Church Road in Damascus. [DC News Now]
