The Pavilion Pop-Up, located in Chevy Chase Pavilion, opened last fall in a 2,113-square-foot spot as a gallery space for artists and for people to visit while shopping or on a lunch break. Located next to The Heights Office Building lobby, the space hosts artist talks and workshops, including key chain making. In addition to curated exhibitions of work by local artists (the environmentally focused collection titled “A Distinct Terroir” will be on display through May 20 with more to follow), the pop-up sells prints of pieces by featured artists. The gallery is open and free to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
