A crash involving a stolen vehicle led to an arrest Monday, Montgomery County police said in a post on social media. The crash happened in the area of Veirs Mill Road and Aspen Hill Road around 6:35 p.m. Police said the suspect was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash, but no one else was harmed. Interfaith works gets new CEO
Interfaith Works, the Rockville-based nonprofit serving the county’s homeless and low-income populations, has a new CEO. Lauren Puryear will take over on June 1 for Courtney Hall, who led the organization for five years. [Montgomery Community Media]

A new documentary chronicles the journey of two baby cows from a dairy farm in Vermont, which planned to sell them for slaughter, to a Rosie’s Farm Sanctuary in Potomac. “Cow Trip” premiered Thursday on the Dodo, an animal-centric website. The filmmaker plans to host a screening in Washington, D.C. this fall. [The Washington Post]
