    TMGOC Ventures, a Florida-based investment manager, announced Friday that it has purchased the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel. The 455-room hotel at 5701 Marinelli Road is attached to a conference center owned by Montgomery County. Marriott manages both the hotel and conference center. [Washington Business Journal]

    Leaders in the Maryland House of Delegates are demanding an apology from two Republican delegates who made a video mocking Del. Chao Wu (D-Dist. 9A) for his accent and accusing him of working for the Chinese Communist Party. Wu, who represents parts of Montgomery and Howard counties, called the comments “racist” and the accusations “false.” [The Daily Record]
