MCPS awarded state grant to train school staff as teachers
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) has secured $6 million in state grant money through a program to help school staff members become certified teachers while continuing to work for the district. The Maryland Grow Your Own Educators program covers the full cost of tuition, fees, books and testing for participants. [Montogmery Community Media]
